Benzonase is the only effective biochemical product available
for removing DNA and RNA from laboratory and industrial scale biopharmaceutical
preparations. It is a unique, genetically-engineered endonuclease offering
a variety of advantages over existing methods of nucleic acid removal.
For more than 10 years, Benzonase has been successfully applied in the
pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for downstream processing of
biopharmaceutical actives such as monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and viral vectors.
To meet varying user needs, Benzonase is available in two grades of purity:
Ultra Pure Grade I - more than 99% purity
Pure Grade II - more than 90% purity 1
