Patinal®
- Evaporation Chemicals
Patinal® evaporants are specialty
chemicals suitable for Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). These
evaporants are inorganic chemicals with defined optical, electrical
and physical properties.
Pure inorganic compounds like magnesium fluoride, silicon monoxide,
zirconium oxide, titanium oxide and mixtures with defined refractive
indices are designed for application in resistance heated boats or
for evaporation with E-beam. Besides inorganic substances, metals
like silver, and chromium complete the product range.
The special Patinal® evaporants are supplied
in the form of tablets, discs, granules and powders. High vacuum processes
are used to achieve reproducible products which are non-porous and
have almost no residual gases or moisture thus assuring suitability
for vacuum deposition processes. The evaporants are stable in air,
non combustible and require no special storage conditions.
